Dove Season Texas
Who’s already thinking about the next Dove Hunting Season in North Texas? The guides at Silver Creek Guide Service are already gearing up. With Duck Season coming to a close we can all take a few months to start prepping for the open of Dove Season Texas! Our private ranch is located in Parker County and is considered the North Zone with a daily bag limit of 15 white-winged, mourning and white-tipped doves in the aggregate, to include no more than 2 white-tipped. According to Texas Monthly, roughly 350,000 people in Texas are called out by the soft coos of the mourning dove on Labor Day weekend.
Doves can be found everywhere in Texas, but Central Texas is their main flyway. Our private ranch is like a dove superhighway! Our ranch is located on the highest point in Parker County, Texas. Three creeks originate on the ranch and feed three of the areas large reservoirs: Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Worth, and Lake Weatherford. Our location is a highway for the birds.
We Have 3 Hunting Packages!
We offer a few different hunting packages that are perfect for first-time hunters & well-seasoned hunters as well.
Basic Hunts: This is a hunt that can be done on the weekends & weekdays for $200 a gun. On weekdays, you may be able to hunt by yourself or with a group of friends. On the weekends, we require groups of at least two. If you would prefer not to hunt with strangers, then you should try our Private Hunt. Please, no dogs on the basic hunt.
Private Hunts: Silver Creek Guide Service offers private hunts for you and 5 of your friends. This is a great hunt for small children and elderly people. This type of hunt can be customized to fit whatever needs you have.
Multi-Day Hunts: We offer private hunts with a minimum of four guns and two consecutive days.
