Dove Hunting Limit 

Dove hunting season is here and Silver Creek Guide Service is booking duck and dove hunting sessions. Silver Creek is located 45 minutes from DFW in Weatherford, TX. Our ranch is located on the highest point of Parker County and is fed by 3 different lakes making it a perfect hub for duck and dove hunting. The ranch also boasts over 25 hunts with a minimum of one week resting periods in between hunts. Silver Creek’s guides scout daily to ensure the best hunting area for your hunt. We offer 3 great hunting packages to choose from

  • Basic Hunt– The perfect trip for a weekday hunt. This package will allow you to hunt during the week by yourself or with a friend however you may be grouped with other parties. On the weekend there is a minimum of at least 2 shooters to hunt. 
  • Privat Hunt– This package is a bang for your buck! You and up to 5 of your friends can hunt in a group, Extra shooters may join for an extra fee per gun. This hunt is the best option if you don’t want to be grouped with strangers and is a must if you will be including children with your party. 
  • Multi-Day Hunt– Minimum of 4 hunters this package is a great 2-day getaway hunt with locations in Throckmorton and Albany. You will need to have your own lodging but we do have a few recommendations here. 

This site will help you learn anything you may need to know about laws and rules for duck and dove hunting. The daily limit for dove is 15 and can include no more than 2 white-tipped doves.  

What should I bring? 

When planning a hunting trip there are things you will need to bring such as 

  • Cooler and bags for your kills. We do offer duck and dove processing for a fee. 
  • Guns with appropriate ammo. 
  • Weather proof foot wear and extra socks 
  • Waders if you have them if not, we do have some extra 
  • Proper licenses and bird stamps and anyone born after 1972 will need a hunting safety card 
  • You may bring a hunting dog on private hunts only!
